| Butthole Surfers – Human Cannonball Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| The lyric is definitely "You're probably feeling like a human cannonball" | |
| Elbow – One Day Like This Lyrics | 15 years ago |

This is going to be the "first dance" song at my wedding. It's really a perfect love song and the tempo is perfect for a first dance. I agree with everyone else, this song is about falling in love and realizing that the person you're with is quite special. |

| Ween – Transdermal Celebration Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I always believed this song was about the end of the world via a massive world war. Reading the lyrics, you can clearly see references about natural disasters that were caused by the war. The mention of the jets in formation dropping bombs is another clear example of how this song was written about the aftermath of war and not something they simply wrote 'when they were high'. Not all songs written by Ween reference drug use or are about drug use at all. Just because someone does drugs, doesn't mean it's the only topic they think/read/write about. Since the song is called Transdermal Celebration, I assumed it was targeting the use of biological warfare and how it would be used in modern warfare. |

| Ween – Tried And True Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| One of my all-time favorite Ween songs. Dean and Gene are always pretty open about their use of drugs. They always have been. A lot of their songs are about drug use and/or written while on some substance. I assumed this song was about an experience while on some substance. I LOVE the background singing of Gene in this song. | |
| Ween – Nan Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| "You know, I saw you yesterday walkin' with Danny. He's a fucker, and you're a fucker too" cracks me up every time I hear this song. | |
| The Knife – Silent Shout Lyrics | 17 years ago |

If you look at dream interpretation and dream analysis, a dream about losing or missing teeth are often dreams of embarrassment or potentially embarrassing situations. This dream interpretation fits perfectly with the rest of the lyrics, in my opinion. The singer wants to 'come clean' with someone important to them and is afraid of embarrassment. |

| Ministry – Filth Pig Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Since Al had a massive heroin addiction for a long time, I thought it was a song about dealing drugs. | |
| Boards of Canada – In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
It references Branch Davidians in the song "In a Beautiful Place Out In the Country" ("...in a religious community in a beautiful place out in the country...") David Koresh's (supposed prophet of the Branch Davidians - led the Waco standoff) right eye on the IBPOIC CD (it's blurry) Amo Bishop Roden (a song off IBPOIC) is the name of a lady who was a Branch Davidian. Supposedly, she was critical of Koresh being a prophet. Consequently, she described Koresh's ranch as "a beautiful place out in the country" and her picture appears on the IBPOIC backsleeve. This is taken from a web site and I always assumed they were correct. If you want to know about more oddities in BoC songs, take a look: http://www.speakeasy.org/~adbrown/boc.html |
