The opening verse describes a period of time after a breakup that this person has had time to reflect on everything. Trying to let go. And in the pain of heartbreak you question everything that you've done and think about everything you did wrong. He crys out "I need to love" and it sounds like letting go. This song isn't necessarily only about realising your faults and hoping that your love returns to you. When I listen to this I think there is a possibility that it means that he's come to terms with the relationship ending ( "now, I have finally seen the end" ), accepted that their love is "madness" or not healthy, and is hopeful for the future - asking for new love to come to him. "Trust in the dream", the dream being a more fulfilling love. |

| The song with all of the clapping is most definitely the Multiple Personality Disorder Version.I think the biggest difference is the layered vocals after the bridge, the crazy hard to understand vocals. | |
