sufjan said at his concert... this song is about him and his friend when they were little at a summer camp they saw what looked like a bird gaurding a nest, but also looked like it had a stinger so they called it the wasp bird...and everytime him and his friend would see something in the scy like a feather or a leaf the would think its the "wasp bird"...that is what he said the song was about |
