| God Lives Underwater – 1% (The Long Way Down) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Uh, these are the lyrics to "Slip to Fail". | |
| Pig – Peoria Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
My bad, at the very beginning, it's "I met a Peoria". I guess after listening to it a bunch of times, you just realize what the hell he's saying. This is an awesome song, despite it's disgusting imagery. I love it. |

| Tweaker – Crude Sunlight Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
It's clearly about suicide. "I can't let them touch me" - this person is fearful of any human contact because it might just prevent them from going through with what they want to do (i.e. end her life). Human touch = love, warmth, care. They don't want that. It'll jeopardize any further actions this person plans to take. "I can't let them see me" - meaning, this woman doesn't want to give anything away, doesn't want to appear that she's suicidal. And the big thing: "Crude sunlight rolling through my window Telling me it's not your time" The sunlight represents any hope, any positive aspect(s) in her life to keep her from taking her life, but "...still the voices calling" her to "c'mon". Even with that sunlight telling her that life is still possible, those negative feelings overwhelm all of the positive... Probably because they want it that way. I never realized the real beauty and fragility this song represents. It's amazing. |

Uh, this was totally left out: So, I fill the notebooks, yeah They build the meaning I've got the meaning I think I've worked it out Yes, it's all in neon It's in the details Click the flash I think it's coming back I think the wheels are turning |

| Gorillaz – White Light Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I don't think it means anything, really. It reminds me of someone who's really fucking drunk to the point of where they start randomly singing randomness (i.e. "white light"). And talk about the "do doo doo doo doo" with the mouth. It's just silly. This song is meant to be silly. Or maybe not. I'm not the person who created the lyrics. | |

| Imperative Reaction – Salvation Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This is clearly stating how ridiculous (..."manufactured dream"), empty, and destructive ("words to kill for when others refuse") religion is. Example: "Something to reach for When you can't hide" Those in society who believe in religion find it to be the only thing to help them get through life, their "salvation" from their problems. And, just as the above quote states, these people look up to (i.e. "something to reach for") religion to give them hope for a better life only because they have nothing else (i.e. "...when you can't hide") to, supposedly, get them through life on their own. |

| Gorillaz – Sound Check (Gravity) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This is how I see it: gravity is a part of life, it's everywhere. So, in a sense, gravity is life. So he uses gravity as a metaphor to show how life can be relentless and an incessant downer. | |

| Snog – Is There No One Who Can Save Us From Today? Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
When he mentions "music keeps you under control", it can be interpreted as good or bad. But I think he's talking about it being a postive thing, considering he's a musician himself. And music really does keeps us under control, in a sense, because, like Snog's and a handful of other bands music, it gives us the "real deal", if you will. It's honest, which keeps us from being ignorant of the things going on around us... As opposed to some candy coated pop star singing about how good a relationship is. I guess the only thing I can say what this song is about is that... society controls our every emotion, every action, anything. And we can't do anything about it because there's "no one who can save us from today", we're all so caught up in the society that's making this happen that we don't do anything about it ourselves. |

| Dismantled – Cornered Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The first thing that came to mind: suicide. Kind of builds a lot of imagery just before a suicide is about to happen. | |

| Dismantled – The swarm Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| He's trying to act like everyone around him, trying to be as normal as possible so as not to stand out. Yet, when he tries to act himself, all of these people get on him about it or "swarm", if you will. He just wants to be himself without any judgement. And, in the end, I think that's what he got because that's what he wants. | |
| Psyclon Nine – Rusted Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The emotions behind the contemplation of suicide. | |
| Patrick Wolf – Bloodbeat Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Perhaps he's talking about letting go or blocking out all the petty shit and people in his life (i.e. "eat the sorrow"; "hunting for secrets..."; and "hunting down demons...") and just looking to bring happiness or excitement into his life (i.e. "lick the spark" - the spark being the excitement) to kind of negate all of that. Being that it's something as simple as speeding in a car just for the adrenaline rush, excitement can still bring happiness to a person even if it's within a small time frame. |

| Icon Of Coil – Transfer Complete Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This person he's referring to can't feel any remorse or sadness even though he knows he's done terrible things, killed people in a battle, perhaps. He doesn't feel in touch with reality anymore after everything has happened, everything he's seen. | |
| KMFDM – Every Day's A Good Day Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The first thing that came to mind is someone, well, fucking you over. And this is about the hate and anger that comes after realizing how stupid and naive you could've been to allow it all to happen. | |
