this is a really beautiful song!!!! when he holds you close, when he pulls you near when he says the words you've been needing to hear I'll wish I was him `cause those words are mine to say to you till the end of time what could be more romantic than this... if you told me to cry for you I could if you told me to die for you I would i mean what more could a girl want... i think it's an great song when you are lovesick and you hope ur guy is gonna come to you with this song ;) |

all the corners of the street signs.. they remind me of the pickup truck out in front of your neighbor's house I think that it means even an totally unsignificant thing, like the corner of every street signs, remind him of another unsignificant thing at home, like the pickup truck at the neighbors house... It could either mean, he misses home or he misses the girl or both... I think it's a mix, he misses home, (I should be home) but when he thinks of home, everything reminds him of her so he cant go back... I think the song could either be about this girl who cheated on him, and he found out and they broke up. Or I think it could be some kind of mixed up thing: Here's my interpretatation. She heard from friends ("loaded words, loaded friends") That he cheated on her (maybe he even did) , and he tried to tell her the truth but she didnt wanna listen ("save your breath"). Then she did some things to upset him and they were both very hurt at the end (kinda a bad break up)... And she still want him to apologize for what he did to her, but he is too stubborn( you can wait till your breathing stops forever) and doesnt want to, but he still doesnt want her to forget him...(the only thing you get is this curse on your lips i hope they taste of me forever) and never forget that she hurt him too (with every breath i wish your body will be broken again) |

okay... first i think the chorus is weird... i mean, the whole song talk about the GIRL cheating on the GUY and then, in the chorus, it's kinda like the guys are the assholes and the girls the idiots who still run after them... i still love this song, because it's such a 'hot' song and it reminds me of my ex, although nobody cheated, but we didnt really break up, i just moved away, but he kept on telling me that i should look for a new guy, but he knew i wouldnt find a better guy than him... i know it's not what the song means, but i still like to hear this meaning out of it... my favorite line: " did you really think i'd let kill this chorus" |

i love this song... i think it's the best song ever!!! Especially the line 'I just have to keep you in mind as something larger than life' of course this song is about a girl that cheats on her guy and he really loved her so much, that he even 'ironically of course' says, that he would even kill himself to make it easier for her (what would you prefer...), but i think, that he is even a little scared that she would take him by his word..." this all is [of course] only wishful thinking..."
