everyone has has a different point of view. that´s the idea. for me, from my words and the feelings that have been transmitted by the song and the video silver and cold, this signifies an individual that is alone on the outside and inside. it´s an individual that does not have anyone to confort him/her. he/she feels like they are alone in the world and needs a hand in life. that´s why in the video there is an act of suicide. also, davey is the one who sings all the lyrics, but yet, is not the one who means it. this is bcuz he is the one representing in the video the person that needs someone to confort him and to be there for him. he needs someone to take his sins meaning that that person cares for him and helps him in life. i mentioned previously that there was an act of siucide bcuz in the video you can see a bigger splash in the water and at the end of the video davey´s arm passes through the body of a woman. this representing that he is a ghost. perhaps my interpretation of this song and video isn´t exactly what davey or had in mind when writing the song, but he leaves it to anybody that listens to it. so, i´m not wrong about my interpretention. maybe you don´t agree with, but i´m not wrong! |
