| Muse – Uno Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Anybody ever realize this comes right after Unintended? | |
| Dan Potthast – Deep Blue Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I saw him opening for Streetlight Manifesto. It was supposed to be all of MU330 but he was the only one there. It might of been the best part of the show. |
| Los Campesinos! – It Started with a Mixx Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I adore this song. I made a girlfriend a Mixed CD once, and this song defines that experience. |
| AC/DC – Rock 'n' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I have Back in Black on vinyl. This song sounds absolutely amazing on it. |
| The White Stripes – Sugar Never Tasted So Good Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I'd like to point out the knocks. Maybe I am just a morbid fuck, but I took them like the knocks on the bathroom door. I just really get a vibe of drowning in the bathtub from this. |
| Bob Marley and the Wailers – Everythings Gonna Be Alright Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The name of this song is actually Three Little Birds. | |
| mu330 – KKK Highway Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Dan played solo at a show the other night with Streetlight. He finished with this song. It was amazing. Eternallygrunge is right though; nothing could stop Streetlight. It was crazy once they started. |
| The Cat Empire – So Many Nights Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| About not feeling adequate for a person. | |
| Streetlight Manifesto – Forty Days Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Am I the first person to point out that Lent lasts 40 days? | |
| The New Pornographers – The Electric Version Lyrics | 18 years ago |
One comment? That is bullshit. This song is crazy catchy. Electric Version is definitely my favorite album and this is one of my favorite songs from it. I get a vibe of being carefree from it. Kind of a whole "The universe tends to unfold as it should" thing. I also kind of get this idea of getting in a car and just driving somewhere... anywhere. |
| The White Stripes – Sugar Never Tasted So Good Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I get this vibe of suicide from it. What it says to me is that you get in a relationship which is really good to begin with, but your partner gets more and more controlling until you just can't take it anymore. Then you drown yourself. I know it sounds kind of morbid, but it is just what I get from it. |
| Radiohead – 15 Step Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I love songs that are NOT in 4/4 time. It is all you ever hear. It seems like few musicians realize other time signatures exist. That is why I love this song. Great lyrics and unique sound. |
| The J. Geils Band – Centerfold Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I can relate to this song. It basically happened to me. I had a babysitter when I was younger and a while back she was in a playboy. It was pretty weird to see her like that, but she still looked as hot as when she babysat me in my early adolescence. |
| The Cat Empire – How to Explain? Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I think it is about a REALLY awesome concert. Legs to spring (Crowds jumping up and down) Hands for climbing (Climbing on stage) Just listen to it and tell me it isn't about a concert. |
| Arctic Monkeys – You Probably Couldn't See for the Lights but You Were Looking Straight at Me Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I don't think it is about walking up to the most attractive person in a club/bar. I think it is about the most attractive person walking up to you, and you just have no idea what to do: Well the heart beats at its peak, When you're coming up to speak. Then again, they have been known to change the Point of View quite a lot throughout a single song, so maybe it is just about going up to the person. I also think that the subject of the song actually gets to be with the attractive person: And now that you're more than a part in the play, It's slightly easier to think what to say. Just my thoughts. |
| Arctic Monkeys – Curtains Closed Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Maybe he was doing the drugs with the curtains open just because he didn't care who saw. | |
| Flight of the Conchords – Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This version might not be better as a whole, but that freestyling part is hilarious. | |
| Hole – Come On Feel The Noise Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I always thought this was a Twisted Sister song.... :-/ Shows what I know... |
| The Fratellis – 3 Skinny Girls Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Nobody has commented on this song? This song is sweet. Now I am too young to have experienced alcohol and women, but this song seems pretty straightforward. Guy goes out to the bars to pick up a girl but scores and gets 3 of them. |
| Jet – Eleanor Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Yeah... the singing even sounds like the Beatles... had I heard this without it knowing it was Jet... I would of said it was the Beatles | |
| Rage Against the Machine – Guerrilla Radio Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Fuck talking to Nothingface555. (No Offense meant) He is entitled to his opinion and I am to mine. I love this song. |
| William Shatner – I Can't Get Behind That Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Great song... It is quite obvious as to what it is about... mainly just what he can't get behind... but you know.. the state of the world | |
| Kasabian – Beneficial Herbs Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| What album is this on?!? | |
| Tenacious D – Tribute Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| My question is: Is this the greatest and best song in the world? They start off the song saying that. So is the greatest song in the world actually just a tribute to the greatest song in the world? | |
| 7th House – Gypsy Queen Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think this song is pretty clear. I think it is just about a guy trying to get somewhere with a girl and not getting anything back. He can plan out an entire life for them to live but no matter what he does, she will never be with him. | |
| The Hives – A Little More for Little You Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This is my favorite song by them and I think it is just about greed and not believing everything you are told. | |
| Kasabian – Cutt Off Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| It's about trippin bawls. Has a hint of cold war with all them spys and shit. | |
| Kasabian – Shoot the Runner Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Idk It kinda seems like they are talking about a girl trying to leave. The runner could actually being refering to the queen. That was my first impression. | |
| Foo Fighters – DOA Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| You can twist a song to make it mean whatever you want. I feel this one is about either death or a difficult breakup. | |
| Kasabian – Shoot the Runner Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Yeah flotante you are nearly right. I head "Get your knee's on the floor/ Absinthe make you may whore" as "Get your ass to the floor/ Absinthe make you a whore" though. I still have no idea what they are hinting at in this song. It kicks ass though. |
| Kasabian – Empire Lyrics | 19 years ago |
lanwanchan is right. If you watch the video on YouTube it ends with "Dulce et Decorum est Pro patria mori." The poem by Wilfred Owen ends with "My friend, you would not tell with such high zest To children ardent for some desperate glory, The old Lie; Dulce et Decorum est Pro patria mori." Pretty much saying that dieing for country is not allways glorified or worth it. |
