I think the end lines refer to him killing himself. (scene at the accident, "he just ran out in the street") because no one saved him from the "ship of fools." just my interpretation. could be right or wrong but to me it makes sense. he goes from TAKE ME OUT TONIGHT to THROW ME THAT LIFELINE to SAVE MY LIFE TONIGHT later in the song and then the scene at the accident that i think he killed himself. |

amazing song! no words needed. Emotina said it perfectly, "I think its a tribute to all the great love song writers of the ages. To me it seems like he's struggling to write his own profession of love towards this girl. So in the end he writes about how hard it is to write a love song. Which in his own way is saying it's too hard to put into words how much I love you." that's it exactly ^ |

(We will ache every time I FEEL the storm) if u listen closely u can hear it... i think "HEAR THE STORM" makes better sense but i definetly think its feel the storm. this song is amazing. good insight on the rain = train. storm is equivalent to the sound of the train. rain is interchangeable with train. amazing lyrical devices. great song all around. |
