This song was kind of a prototype for Ghosts, which was reworked and written later and is a better song, in my opinion. "Is It Scary" was originally written for the Addams Family show soundtrack, but something didn't work out. |

Everybody knows the story behind this one, right? Madonna was originally chosen to be the "mystery girl". However, this didn't happen due to a hilarious misunderstanding. When she and MJ got together she asked him if he understood what the title "In the Closet" meant. He said he did. She thought, ok weird, went home and wrote some lyrics fitting the theme. When she showed him her lyrics later, he got offended, thus the 'duet' never happened. I don't know, Michael is either naive or just pretends to be nairve. |
