it's funny...all the hits on this one song of elo's. i never knew this song was on eternal sunshine of a spotless mind sndtrk but i am glad so many people were introduced to the song though the movie. i just love this song. it's so good to listen to it cranked, cruisin with the sunroof open on a sunny sunny day. my mom used to listen to this album (out of the blue) all the time while she did house chores. it's one of my favorite childhood memories. she had it on eight track and she'd play it all the way to albuquerque (from gallup...new mexico) and then back again. i live in upstate new york now so whenever i hear the songs from this album i am immediately transferred to the backward facing rear seat of the family wagon cruising down I-40. by the way all you spotless minders, check out the album out of the blue where you can find this song and many more you’ll come to love as much as this one. one of my favorite albums of all time. |
