| Who cares about what it sounds like? It's a good song and for a meaningful discussion about it go to the original by Joni Mitchell. By the way, Beltane, you should put that in the original's page. I personally think that this song is about a guy who's trying to woo a girl and who wants a long-term relationship with her, but she doesn't feel the same way he does about them being together. "I'm romantically dead" probably means that he never had a girlfriend and he's never felt this way about someone. That's my take, maybe someone else has something better. |
