| Manchester Orchestra – Where Have You Been Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Just wanted to point out a similarity I found; I don't know if it's of relevance or not. The last lines in 'Where Have You Been' are "God, my God, my God, where have you been?" and in Matthew 27:46 in the Bible it says that one of the last things that Jesus said before he died was “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which means, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? |

| Kevin Devine – No Time Flat Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| When I saw Kevin in concert, like previous people have stated, he said it was about "trying to fuck but then you keep thinking about how Bush keeps blowing shit up." | |
| Straylight Run – Take It To Manhattan Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Given that Straylight Run abandoned their darker sound from their previous album I think this could be about themselves and moving in a new direction with their sound. | |

'taken in context it's not a bad thing but when you take it apart it's so depressing and it's that sort of thing that makes you think too much and it's that sort of thing that makes you lose your objectivity' This song is about trust in a relationship. |

| bermudababe273, perhaps in those lines he is talking about a really good relationship he had which was ruined by the coke addiction. | |
| Kevin Devine – Just Stay Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Actually, charchoalsketch, Jesse Lacey was in two of KD's song's on his previous album. Jesse did background vocals in both Cotton Crush and Afterparty, but that's aside the point. I think it's kind of about going through the motions of life, and life getting routine, but he's okay with that. | |
