I have a little different twist on this that relates with the previous post about addiction. I recently found out that Maynard and Layne Staley of AIC were good friends. Layne had obviously shut everyone out of his life around this time. When I heard this song the other day it really hit me that this song would have fit the situation perfectly. Maynard was trying to reach out to him and thinking he could save him, but in the end, no one could. Just an idea. |
