This cover is so good and i definately agree that Flower's voice is perfect for the song! It's such a beautiful peace, nice because it's unique from their usual style. i feel like the "hey la my boyfriend's back" just a casual thing she says to show it's kinda like 'whatever, or whoopee look who's here' like it's a fun little treat. but i'm not sure... i'd like to hear some other interpretations on it. but great song. |

This has to be one of my favorite from sawdust, i could just listen to it over and over. i love how from the start it get straight into the heart of the song I think 08myran has a good explination of it. the girl isn't real to him and he's trapped becasue he likes her but she can't be true to him, she's messing around with him for whatever reason. He can't take it anymore!!!! |

LOVE THIS SONG. reminds me of "when i was 'young'" To me its about a girl who finds this guy who she thinks is her "beautiful boy" whose come to sweep her off her feet and he seems nice (he acts like a gentleman) she goes with him eventhough he's really not the greates guy because she's naive and doesn't know any better. Things don't turn out as she wanted and then she's gotten herself into this relationship where this guy really doesn't care that much about her and in this case is maybe only using her or cheating on her. so it's talking about those decisions made when "you where young" and didn't know anybetter. also he mentions how you don't have to do anything right now "you don't have to drink right now" |

anyone find it interesting that you can hear her accent? usually for most artists it's not so apparent. Anyway...this song's very shallow so it's not really hard to tell what it's saying... a guy cheated on her and then he just wants her b/c he's lonely. but she smiles b/c now he's feeling the pain. she's being pretty bratty about the situation. as much as it might be nice to be that mad at a person...usually you'll end up regretting it. Not a big fan of the song...... |

hmm interesting theories here by shiner and soldier..... I like shiner's point..... it could be about someone who is sick...or maybe since the skin and bones turn "into something beautiful" the person dies and becomes part of the world.....something beautiful. Otherwise I know it's a love song. but the "for you i bleed myself" part still is a bit...out there..i don't quite understand |

I could listen to this song over and over again for sure. It thought provoking......how simple and sweet...and very relatable and metaphoric it is. a very good "Whoa! i just realized this! type of song, like when something big or when your thinking about how life in general has just, well,.....changed. |

I love this song!! I love how the words flow in their music! it's like they made a really good poem and sewed it up with the musical aspects to make it. I think the song is talking about how he got himself into a situation that he was getting all swallowed up in and wanted to get out of but didn't know how. I WANNA SWIM AWAY BUT DON'T KNOW HOW SOMETIMES IT FEELS JUST LIKE I'M FALLING IN THE OCEAN LET THE WAVES UP... TAKE ME DOWN LET THE HURRICANE SET IN MOTION LET THE RAIN OF WHAT I FEEL RIGHT NOW COME DOWN LET THE RAIN COME DOWN And then he explains how it feels like he's "falling in the ocean" Into this deep vast situation and then he explains it how he sees it all coming and he watches as it all set up but there's nothing he can really do so he's kinda like just let it happen. (let the rain fall down) The verses go into more depth: 1st: about how he wishes he could do what he wanted and be what he wanted. 2nd: Looking for help and paniking at the thought of not having it. Then the WELL I THOUGHT OF JUST YOUR FACE RELAXED AND FLOATED INTO SPACE is more up to the listeners interpretations.......there's many ways that could be interpreted. 3rd: is about looking back on what has happened. He took a chance on this one thing to see how it would end up and/or to prove that he could do it and now he's reflecting on it. He's also saying how by taking this chance he's effected his life and now he's engulfed in this sea of new surroundings because he ended how it use to be. I love this song, the lyrics, everything about it! |
