this song is one of the most beautiful songs ever. thank you ludo, for writing a song that every time i listen to i remember perfect summers filled with friends, love and st. louis streetlights. "Now there no words Only the glow in our wires And so we will be You turn slow to me Our lips at the sun The hills are on fire" i love this verse. the whole song is about night, and streetlights. but then... "the hills are on fire". it's like the sun coming up. this song is so beautiful. |

seirdo, i see how you could get that message. that is a very interesting concept, and i agree with disagreeing about the religious view. I think that is a very clever way to incorporate that, but i just don't think taking back sunday wrote it about God. the way i kind of take it is as he's surrounded by a world that confuses him, and is kind of depressing, but there's that one person who's keeping him sane and stopping him from falling into the world of chaos around him, telling hime "you are safe child you are safe". |

| I think this is my favorite something corporate song. It's absolutely beautiful. It has kind of depressing meaning, about knowing that the distance betwen two people is going to ultimately be a cause of downfall, but then it has an uplifting message too, about how even though this may be true, there will always be a way to come home and feel the way they used to. | |

this song is one of my favorites. I heard it first on their live concert DVD and fell in love, and then i heard the real version, with the violins, and it pretty much made me cry because of how beautiful it was. This song has a a great sound to it, with the violins and the sweet melody, but also powerful lyrics that start out confused, then ultimately end up frustrated. I love the last lines :"And what did I do that you can't seem to want me? And why do we lie here and whisper goodbyes?" these lyrics are beautiful and tell so much by only so many words. This song is truely a beautiful song that I'm sure everyone can realte to: not understanding why the one you love can't love you back. |
