I think this song is pretty clearly about a wealthy, dying mother of a family as her children bicker trying to gain her favor and bicker among themselves about who deserves to inherit instead of coming together as a family or actually caring about their mother. It's a sad song, and I know this kind of thing happens all the time... Maria Mena has such a gift of storytelling in her music |

It's not part of Anything For You. It's actually part of a Mozart song I think, I'm pretty sure it's part of his requiem. There are just parts of that song in this song and Anything For You. Anyways, I love this song, the mix of classical and rock really works. I think this song is about a woman who's husband/lover left her... It's fairly straight-forward. |
