just because they were an influence on kobain dosnent make them good. they ARE good, don't get me wrong...but you shouldn't credit their creativy just because kobain was inspired by it. i'm not a nirvana fan, and i don't really like grunge and what came out of punk rock in the late 80's. this song came out in 1982, and flipper should recieve alot of attention for putting out "generic," because they're more unique than ALOT of bands. |

GG Allin was not racist, or homophobic....to people that dont know this, of course this is offensive. GG Allin wasn't straight himself...haha he was everything. He had all kinds of sex with men women and animals. AND he had AIDS along with many other diseases. He was a wayyy weird and hardcore guy, but he definetaly was a realist. |

I looooove MP II, but I definetaly have a hude respect for their first album as well. this song is so fucking hardcore. it's sounds like theyre thrashing in the studio so hard. it's a thrash punk song, but the lyrics are pretty psychadelic. haha i dont know why they even bothered to make the words rhyme, since you can't distinguish anything kirkwood is saying haha. gotta love it though. |

MY FAVORITE meat puppets song. in my opinion, it seems like it's about going south of the border for a drug deal. "how much do i owe you?" to be the money for drugs, and "but remember what we told you no one else knows what's in store" to be the owner of the place telling them to keep it on the down low. |

haha..sopors were cheap ludes (sedatives) that were popular in the late 70's. the angry samoans are one of the few old school punk bands that were open with their drug use and psychadelic experiences. i got to meet metal mike and sell their merch when they came to san diego!! woo! def. one of my favorite bands, and probably my favorite song by them. |

frank zappa was a satirist, and this song is about phoy hippies in america who just sit around and smoke dope instead of acting on anything. he points out a problem about abusive police, and the hippies not doing anything about it...just loving each other and thinking everything is okay. |
