I think he is talking about a girl that he was currently dating. "We can find it if we try" would mean that they can work out their problems, and "Transfixed upon the why" would mean that they shouldnt worry about the "Why" of things and just let everything work itself out. Then in the second verse it looks like he gives up hope of seeing her, and he doesnt really like her anymore as shown here "So I burnt a fire for a lost desire, See it burning higher." I absolutely love this song. I looked them up a little, and zeppelin is their main influence. They just mold together the styles of tons of bands that I have always liked into one great band. Maybe the sound leans a little tword Zeppelin...but i think their sound is groundbreaking in regards to the crappy 21st century music |
