I think most of you are all around the meaning but haven't actually pinpointed it yet. I think ThePoetRazel came the closest. To me this song is about a stripper who is addicted to heroin and she has the power over these men. These men are madly in love with her, falling down over her, and will do anything for her, but it's saying in the end this girl is going to destroy you. I get that from the last lines "Blood on her skin, dripping with sin, do it again, living dead girl." This also implies that it's a never ending cycle or it's going to be. After these men are destroyed by this girl, this girl is just gonna keep on destroying men. |

You guys are thinking way too hard about this song. Yes some of Serj Tankian's songs are political and some have deep meanings but this one's pretty straight forward. Incest, Murder, and Suicide. Basically it tells a story of a boy and girl who commit incest, who are having sex with each other. Then the chorus lets us know they both decided to commit suicide only the brother doesn't jump off the cliff which is inherently murder since he talked her into it. And as she dies he delightfully says or sings "lalalala lie lie lie" very creepy. Basically it's this crazy twisted drama story. |
