I have no clue what this song is about, but Sako is a rifle company owned by Beretta that operates out of Finland. They don't make pistols (otherwise I'd have one by now) so I'm pretty sure that "Sako" is a person. It's a pretty odd coincidence though. |

Chere and Mad Gouki, thank you for finally bringing up the idea of government-supplied drugs. This song brings up that same point. I really don't see how other people can look at these lyrics and not see that theme!
My brother's life has been completely destroyed and run by drugs since he was 13. He's 24 now and he's been to prison once. Prison didn't help him, but then again neither has AA or NA.
One thing that always bothers me about politics and new laws in general are that we address the surface problem, but pay no attention to the actual cause. It's kinda like putting a band-aid on a brain tumor.
And another note about the Iranian revolution, the CIA mastermind of the operation was Kermit Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt’s grandson. Really! This is mainstream news!
I also give credence to the idea of the drugs building the prison. |

I've gotta say, it's a real shame that more people don't listen to White Zombie anymore. I'm pretty sure that this has something to do with his birthday, but like most Zombie songs, I fear that it lacks a deeper meaning.
I heard that most of the old band members (excluding his ex/bassist) are actually still playing with Rob. Anyone know? |

Well about the first 5 times I heard this song, I was sure that it was "from the horse with bad feet." of course I had a totally different interpretation, I though that that line alluded to how horses are whipped to go faster; thus "beat the meat" and there feet are treated so well so that the horse will not stop doing our chores. I thought that maybe that could be a metaphor for how badly some people are treated, while the parts of them needed for work were treated well.
But, since it’s “whores” I guess that that has no relevance. |

Ok, the people who seem to think that this song is about a concert obviously have either never seen the video for Land of Confusion, or just completely misunderstand Disturbed. The entire album is about a revolution of sorts, where the people rise up and attempt to conquer the ruling class of not only America, but of the entire world. Disturbed is one of those rare bands that actually bother to write about something other than party politics.
As a side note, read 1984 by George Orwell and this song may make a little more sense in its meaning. |

I feel that this song is condeming religion in general. I used to be a Christian until I began to understand a lot of what is being discussed in this sont. I feel that religion can help a lot of people, but that it is a control mechanism.
oh and a great song in meaning and sound, my favorite metallica song. |

the whole "misty mountain" thing may indeed be a reference from the hobbit but its just a metaphor. misty mountain means that he has his head in the clouds. he's on acid when he writes the song. |

Ok, well I've been listening to Fush Yu Mang for years and this song was one of the first that I figured out. It's about a guy whose girlfriend breaks up with him, and his friend is trying to cheer him up. Simple. |
