day job is a great song for young adults who feel they're not making it in the world of work. here, GB is questioning whether or not working hard will actually cause you to get somewhere in life. the whole 'been 11 years since i've stood here with me peers' part tells about a group of people who all went to college together and worked hard, but only a portion of people were actually successful |

isn't that an awesome line? 'they say you can't miss something that you've never had.' simple song with a sweet zydeco beat. in cajun song, GB is just saying that he was with a girl for a short period of time, fell in love with her, and then she left. he still wants her back despite not seeing her for years |

the traditional depressing sound of GB. as long as it matters tells about a guy and a girl who have sex, but don't have a relationship. he wants her to make a commitment, but she's not into that. he's greatly hurt that they can't be together, but he settles for sex. hense that he'll be alright 'as long as your here with me now.' |

incredible song, probably my favorite GB work. allison road is about a guy who breaks up with a girl and then realizes hes's made the wrong choice but can't go back. which explains why he keeps saying 'i couldn't see i was lost at the time.' btw, i checked and there is an allison road in GB's hometown of tempe, althought it's an insignificant little road. |
