| Tool – The Pot Lyrics | 16 years ago |

It might be (at least partially) about rock critics (specifically Rolling Stone). Think about it: he could've said "muddy water", but he said "muddy waterS"... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muddy_Waters Muddy Waters wrote a little ditty that inspired the names of both a very famous and influential band AND an immensely popular, influential, and probably biased rock magazine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rollin%27_Stone. The references to pot are a double entendre, yes (the pot calling the kettle black), but who smokes pot more than hippies? And who started Rolling Stone? The critics in Rolling Stone Magazine are often said to be biased toward earlier rock artists; this justifies the lines "You practically raised the dead" and "Rob the grave to snow the cradle". Any other thoughts? |

| I think that this song might very well be about the Writing Writer (explained and followed in the following album). That's why it might be so hard to understand. "Slowly the pen touches paper". The emotions and situations conveyed are all emotions and situations of the Writing Writer. | |
| Nelly – Grillz Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I was listening to this song, and I thought maybe it was a metaphor for life in the ghetto. I thought maybe one verse is the buyer of something and one is the seller and one is just about the hood. Then I realized that I was actually thinking deeply about a Nelly song. It's all about grillz. | |

i think the eating thing can go to hell and that the song is the writer trying to convince claudio k. to turn into the crowing but he doesnt want to and so the writer has to kill ambellina to get him to do it the whole album is basically the writer goin "omg i am pissed off about my gf leaving" and ten speed goin "kill ambellina mother fucker" and the writer goin "no" and ten speed goin "yes" and the writer goin "ok" cuz he thinks it will end his anger at his gf and claudio's like "screw you ambellina is my new gf" and the writer's like "grr" and they fight btw the earth came away from the keywork like 3 million years ago man |
