This is probably wrong, but what I got from it was this: from distant star to this here bar (She's weird and they met in a bar) the me, the you where are we now? (Wondering where they are in their relationship) horray the blues of everyone allison (she likes it when others are sad.. or thinks everyone's sad) keeps a smile around a while (smiles a lot) he took no fright and jettisoned (an ex of hers broke up with her..) we'll go tonight to hear him tell "oh well" allison allison (they shove it in his face and he plays it off like he doesn't care) and when the planet hit the sun i saw the face of allison allison allison (he met her at a bad time.. or a bunch of bad things have happened to her) I described it so be cause I have a girlfriend whos name is Allison and this song is pretty similar to her in ways... and it really reminds me of her.
