Matisyahu, the Jew Rapper/Raggae singer. His music is amazing, i first heard him at my cousins house and tell you the truth, I never liked raggae 'till i heard the live at the stubbs album. It blew me away!!! Now i LOVE raggae!! its funny, me and my girlfriend (whom i've been dating for about 1 yr and 8 months) have a "song" like most couples and it just so happends to be Matisyahu's "Time Of Your Song" I know its not a love song but the music of that song set a good mood in the air for us on a very sad day for us. It just enlightened us. She cries whenever she hears that song, I love her...ANYWAYS yea Matisyahu is tight!!! |

I think he might be talking about Moses, I mean Matisyahu is a Jew. And the quote

I first heard this song on a movie trailer to "World Trade Center" (i dont watch th O.C.) I heard it and automatically LOVED it!!! I love all types of music, Rap, Deathcore, Raggae, Classical, Oldies, Rock, but THIS song just does it for me. My absolute FAVORITE song ever! Words cannot describe how I feel EVERYTIME I hear this song, it's like he's narrarating (spell check) my life!!! If im depressed or upset about something I put this song on, which starts off sad and a bit cruel, but in the long run the song ends on a very happy, uplifting, and/or inspirational note. I need to catch my breath after everytime I hear that song I'm lost for words when it comes to describing this song, except for one...................LOVE. |

Hey the song is just a remake people that Jon did NOT originally write dumbasses. Slick Rick & Doug E Fresh were the original writers back in the 80's. So if the song did mean that whole african priest shit, wouldn't it make more sense if a BLACK MAN WROTE IT!! Which is what really did happen. Hey it was a good song back in the day, and Korn tried to bring it back for a while as an intro for Ball Tounge, and it was a good transition between the 2 songs. |
