U2 – Pride (In the Name of Love) Lyrics 17 years ago
The first Verse I'm not to sure about. It might not be about any one in particular.

The name "40" the number 40 is used numerous time throughout the Bible. Noah 40 days of rain, Moses 40 years in desert, Jesus 40 days in desert, to name a couple.

Verse 2 is defiantly about Jesus.

One man caught on a barbed wire fence (crown of thorns)
One man he resist (temptation of Satan)
One man washed on an empty beach (Baptism by John)
One man betrayed with a kiss (Betrayal by Judas)

Verse 3 is defiantly about MLK the dates line up with his death.

Rascal Flatts – He Ain't the Leavin' Kind Lyrics 19 years ago
Yep. GOD, isn't he amazing. I had heard this sone hundreds of times before but just thought it was about some dead beat that was trying to keep his life. But on the way home from a bible study I was listining to this song and when the chorus came on for a second time I felt like I got slapped in the face because it all made perfect scense. No matter how far and how long you run you can never get away from GOD's presence.

Rascal Flatts – What Hurts The Most Lyrics 19 years ago
This is an Amazing song. I'm not quite sure what to think about it though. If you take it without th video it has one mean of someone deeply caring for someone else but not telling them. If you put it with the video it take on a different deeper meaning. I don't know what to think about the song with t video but I'll tell you what I don't think. 1 I don't think she was pregnant, I think she's so upset that she causing herself to throw up. 2 I think her dad might not have like the relationship but I don't think he told the boyfriend to leave she was just trying to place blame on someone. 3 I think the crash was an accident.

Rage Against the Machine – War Within a Breath Lyrics 19 years ago
One meaning of this song is that is a written about the Inception of NAFTA on Jan 1, 1994. With the inception the Mexican Government took land away from citizens and gave it to international corperations moving into Mexico. This mostly happened in Chiapas where they were subsitant farmers. with the new rules that came with NAFTA they were no longer even allowed to grow corn to live off of, and were forced to purchase it from imports.
