| Bob Dylan – You Angel You Lyrics

The line
"If this is love then give me more
And more and more and more and more."
reminds me of the Beatles' "I SHould Have Known Better"
"If this is love, you gotta give me more. Hey hey hey, give me more!"
Bob Dylan lifts a lot of lines from old blues, folk, spirituals, etc., but I wouldn't expect him to pull one from the Beatles. It probably wasn't intentional cause the words are kind of generic, but the way that he sings it sure does sound similar....

I had heard this song several times, but I didn't pay any attention to it until I was reading the book Glamorama and it was featured in the book. Since then, I listened to it a lot. I love this song, and it is great to make out to. |

This song is all about getting out on the open road and just traveling. The only bad thing about this song is that it's too short! "Easy Rider" is a great movie, and this song fits it perfectly. |

| The Rolling Stones – All Down The Line Lyrics

This is such a fun song, it really picks the momentum up again after the slow (but beautiful) Let It Loose. I don't think it's about cocaine like some of you do, I honestly don't now what it's about. Maybe its about being there for someone through thick and thin, going "all down the line" with them. The ending is great. It sounds like part of another song they never finished, and just tacked it onto the end of All Down The Line. Great song. |

RapIsGarbage...what the hell are you talking about? This is a great performance by all four member sof the band. JPJ's rocking piano keeps everything in line along with Bonzo's catchy, uplifting beat. Plant delivers the lyrics well, and Jimmy has a nice little solo. What more can you ask from a song? Oh yeah, and the lyrics are fun, too. |

This is one of my favorite Led Zeppelin tunes. I love the crescendo of the verses, then the explosion of sound at the "hanging", followed by the scat-sung extended coda and layers of guitars. this is a very busy, involved, ALIVE song and it never ceases to get me singing along and tapping my feet! |

I agree with Minero....they don't make songs like this anymore. The blatantly sexual lyrics, but with a lighthearted, playful delivery make it stand up very well to repeated listens. Great riff, and the little scat-sung lines make this song very easy to sing along with. Fantastic song by "the greatest rock n' roll band in the world" |

You're the one that I long to kiss
Baby, you're the one that I really miss
Yeah, yeah, yeah
You're the one that I'm dreamin' of
Baby, you're the one that I love
great song! can't get it out of my head. the Vogues were underrated and its a shame they didnt have more hits than they did. |

Del shannon was such a great performer. His suicide was truly a loss to the music community. anyway, this is a great song and it's a shame more people haven't commented on it! |

Its a wonder the Tremeloes didnt have more hits---they sound so good here! I have "The Best of The Tremeloes" on vinyl and it's a fun record. Anyway, this is a very good song. beautiful vocals |

| Buffalo Springfield – Mr. Soul Lyrics

I think its about selling out to the music industry, and how bands will do anything to get praise from their audiences, even if it means "changing", which seems to be a big theme of this song. that said, I think that the words are secondary to the music on this one. great guitar by Neil Young. A highlight frrom "Buffalo Springfield Again". |

such a beautiful song. Bob Dylan is the greatest lyricist of all time. And of course George Harrison plays and sings wonderfully....but what else did you expect? He's George Harrison! |

Dylan knows that people pick apart the lyrics of his songs...I think he just loaded up this one with some fun names, places, and ideas and set this rambling story to music. I'm not saying it's not a great song, I absolutely love it! I just think that focusing on the Egyptian stuff here is unnecessary |

Great song--man the Eagles were good! I'm not sure if it's as "raunchy" as Fluffyinsanity seems to think it is, but I guess that's just an opinion thing. anytime guys can pull off a falsetto, it's just plain badass. |

This song always reminds me of Nately from Catch-22. He was in love with that whore (appropriately called "Nately's Whore") and she didn't love him back. For most of the book, at least. Anyways, fantastic book, great song. |

What an amazing song! How come hardly anyone has posted on it? anyway, yeah it's a "moving-on" song, one of The Who's best. I guess its easy to be overshadowed on Who's Next by Baba O'Riley, Behind Blue Eyes, and Won't Get Fooled Again. |

There are plenty of great instrumentals out there and just cause they don't have lyrics doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to discuss them.
That said, this song isn't so great but it is bright and nice for a listen every now and then. I'm glad George Martin arranged these instrumentals from Yellow Submarine. Makes me think of the good times I had as a child watching the movie. |

This hauntingly beautiful piece of music is the final song on the "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, And Thyme" album. The first time I heard this, it brought me to tears. Truly a moving song, something we're in pretty short supply of these days. |

What a good song! I mellow break from their early rockers. More along the lines of "And I Love Her", but not as pretty. They gave this one to Billy J Kramer And The Dakotas, who had a hit with it. I think you can only get it by the Beatles on Live At The BBC |

This song is just breathtaking. Sometimes, even when I don't think I'm in the mood for the song, it starts playing and that riff just hooks me and I remember: I'm ALWAYS in the mood for this song. |
