| Drop Dead, Gorgeous – It Sounded Like An Accident Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Adeluz.. After listening many times, I'm pretty convinced that it's Aaron singing. If it's not, it is some other random person. In the lyric insert they thank "Michael Harris", "Wes Borland", and "Daniel Anderson" for additional vocals and instruments on certain tracks. For this song it says "Michael Harris" performed additional vocals. Another strange thing it says is that all songs were written and performed by Drop Dead, Gorgeous, except "It Sounded Like an Accident" written by DDG, Paul Gray, Daniel Anderson, and Michael Harris. Go figure. |

| Drop Dead, Gorgeous – Worse Than A Fairy Tale Lyrics | 18 years ago |

This song makes me think of necrophilia.. And this line really confuses me: 'The shadows come from under the ground, they sweep you off your feet. As soon as the sun sets, the fucking earth sinks.' |

| Drop Dead, Gorgeous – The Pleasure To End All Pleasures Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I think maybe the victim in this song was a previous relationship. Because of this line.. 'For every boy who told you that he'd never ever feel The way he felt when you touched him and never did again..' Maybe he felt that way about her and she pushed him away. Now he is going back to kill her for not loving him back? It would make sense since he says "I still have your key.", which would be a hint that they were at one point together. |

| Drop Dead, Gorgeous – Saylor Lake Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| That sounds like a really good idea.. I think he sees the people he kills as the devil. For instance, in Drawing the Devil, someone said that maybe he thinks he's the pastor and the girl was the Devil, so he tied her hands together.. which would make sense. | |
| Drop Dead, Gorgeous – Red or White Wine? Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| You're right. The lyric insert.. not so much. There are A LOT of mistakes in the insert.. I hate when bands have incorrect lyrics in their own inserts.. | |

| Drop Dead, Gorgeous – Drawing the Devil Lyrics | 18 years ago |

"Dancing around yourself could be that shes dancing around him, because he seems to think that they're like the same person. or a mirror image, so shes dancing around herself?" This does make a lot of sense, because the last two lines in Bye Bye Blues are.. 'I don't believe we've met. When I look at you I see myself.' ..and the beginning of I Want To Master Life And Death is.. 'But to you I am just a mirror. Well sometimes mirrors shatter.' I'm still not exactly sure what it all means though. |

| These lyrics are shit. This isn't the hidden track. It's bullshit. | |
| Cute Is What We Aim For – Lyrical Lies Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Keep in mind this is SONGMEANINGS.NET not MYSPACE.COM.. keep your "i love this song!! omgomgomg" to yourself, unless its accompanied by something legitimate. I think the chorus: And you want to be dressed in poetry but imagery doesn’t fit and you want resizing but darling dear get a grip means that the girl wants to be everything he writes about. Dressed in his poetry. But what he sees for his work isn't all about her. She cant accept that, and hes telling her to get a grip. It's not all about you. |

| Say Anything – But a Fleeting Illness Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| For what its worth, I think this song is about being soon to break up with someone that has been kind of controlling in the realtionship. Maybe? | |
| Say Anything – Metal Now Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| As much as I hate to say it, this song makes little to no sense to me. I love this song so much, but I just can't make much sense of it? All in all it seems like its about being in a relationship with someone that is emotionally unstable, as in they cut, talk about suicide, hurt themself, and it makes you so mad seeing them make that horrible choice? | |
| Say Anything – Joel On Other Planets Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Obviously it is about his little brother. But I think the rest of the song is talking about how we are ruining our planet, maybe? About how one day we are going to have to try and colonize other planets because "this ones going down." Sounds kind of sci-fi but i think it makes sense. |

| Say Anything – Yellow Cat (Slash) Red Cat Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I think this song is just about a guy with a boring, dull life. He observes everything from afar but isn't involved in any of it. He is a loner, a shut-in, or waht have you. He watches the people so often, and knows about them, considering them his friends, since he has no real "friends". I get this from the chorus. these are my friends this is who they have been for always these are my days this is how they stay I also agree with the symbolism of war in the song. Also how we watches the boy play with a shotgun, symbolizing how the youth of today is so exposed to the horrible things that happen in our country. Max is also saying that he is no "sell-out" as many people are. He says that to be succesful you usually have to be fake. Since this obviously isn't liek Max at all, he stays in the middle of the crossroads, going nowhere, trapped in this life portrayed throughout the song. Taken from verse: as i look back at countless crossroads and the middle where i stay right up the beaten path to boredom where the fakest fucks get laid |

| Say Anything – Admit It!!! Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This may not be exactly the group Max is speaking of, but this song always reminds me of making fun of emo, scene kids, etc. I also think the second half of the song (I wanna taste the breeze of every great city, ..my car and my guitar..) is about him and the band spreading their ideas around through music. That's my take on it. | |
| Say Anything – Baseball But Better Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The name "Baseball, But Better" always made me think of the 'bases' of sexual activity, so its not really baseball at all? | |
| Say Anything – Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Seahighster, you ask why Max talks about Hell, him being Jewish. Well, to talk about heaven and hell, you don't necissarily have to believe in them as a real place. I think heaven and hell have become such a common theme in todays society that they are just used as ideas of consequence (in a metaphoric way). Also, this song just makes me laugh. ;D |
