I can see what Master Lord Santa is saying, but i dont think thats what its about. It seems too ordinary for a Maiden song. I have always felt that it is about the last days of Jesus (i actually don't believe in jesus, but thats what the song seems to be about)

Someday maybe I'll wait till then " seems to refer to the ressurection; "
They're all sitting at my table/Talking tall and drinking wine "seems to refer to the apostles at the last supper; "My life is set, the time is here/ I think I'm coming home" seems to refer to his ascension to heaven and his return to god, his father. |
