| Actually they aren't singing about God. I am pretty sure this is about a girl. It would be blasphemic refering this song to god. Maybe he strengthened his belief in god through the girl he is talking about, but i don't think there are other references to god | |

"follow the path, the straight and narrow" This can also be meant as path of live, which hasn't got a religous meaning. I think it's more about how to manage your live. "We waited too long to see the promised land," Well i think this is more a negative view on Religion or more on "being religous" |

"This reminds me of my ex.. He wants me to still like him and I have been but now I think that I'm not going to be sad over him anymore and I'm not waiting for him. "Will it tear you apart? Will it? Will it tear you apart?" This is what reminds me of how I wonder if he'll hate not having me there to be sad for him." (quote of bay bay) Well i think this situation has actually nothing to do with the song. . . |

| I just got the idea that the titel of the album, "A City By The Light Devided", Could also refer to a vehicle, which drives through a dark city with it's lights on. So it splits the darkness in two parts. What do you guys think about this. | |
