| haha i am studying king lear right now and when i read the line "bind fast his corky arms" i knew it sounded familiar. sort of sad that i knew shakespeare quotes from a chiodos song. some lines and phrases in the song are taken from king lear, but they're out of order and phrases are taken from different character's lines and pieced together here. one quote from the original is: "If she live long, / And in the end meet the old course of death, / Women will all turn monsters." | |

According to the lyrics in the CD booklet it actually says mirror, not myrrh. Actually a lot of the lyrics are a bit off, but it's not a bad effort at all, considering the Mars Volta.
