Man! i don't like bruce's intro, his voice ,it isnt bruce! but i like the rest of it.. I wonder if Maiden will ever go back to the days of return to the days of "The Trooper, it seems they dont really have the galopping bass and guitar lines anymore...and is it derek riggrs who drew the artwork? Theres no possibility Maiden will ever go back that way, I think. They're very progressive and more musical now, so appreciate their talents even more, because it will probably remain this way until they're all dead. Don't think I'm hating on the old maiden, because they are my favorite band, and I love the old days to, but this has a lot more musicality, and I think a lot more people will hear this and think: "Iron Maiden isn't all screaming and cussing... I like this", and become fans, increasing Maidens potential! Also, when ever people accuse maiden of being a satanic screamo band, I laugh at them and play pachendale for them, and it totally changes their mind. Besides, only one song is really truely about satan (the number of the beast), and its not like their worshiping him, its about an encounter with witches and shit. And bruce isn't screaming, that was Di'anno, bruce just projects his voice, so he sound louder and brighter, like a scream. But the way he sings, it is effortless for him, because he knows what he's doing. Thats probably why no one can sing like that for as long as he does, because he opens up, and whenever non-musical people try to sing like Bruce, the close off and clench up like their trying to squeeze of a shit. heh. UP THE IRONS!!! |
