| Dream Theater – Panic Attack Lyrics | 16 years ago |

It's about an Anxiety or Panic Disorder. I would know-it's lyrics fit me to a T, being someone who suffers from this 'insane' illness. Incase you don't know the full extent of what a panic disorder is, it's when you constantly feel like you're on the edge, you're always tense--and you're interpretations of the things around you constantly spell doom and bad news for you. You undergo something called "fight or flight" which he references to. You're pumped with adrenaline when undergoing an attack. As if in a kill or be killed situation. fight for your life, or flee for it. [usually happens when nothing is wrong] Other symptoms include heart palpations fear of sleep. you become a horrible hypochondriac, and it literally feels impossible to break the cycle. no matter what remedy you try[minus medication, which im personally against]-it follows you like a ball and chain that's fused into your leg. |

| Nine Inch Nails – Every Day Is Exactly the Same Lyrics | 17 years ago |

**ohh, and another important one, I wanted to point out--well, important to my original theory-- the part: "I'm writing on a little piece of paper I'm hoping someday you will find Well, I'll hide it behind something They won't look behind" [I wonder if this would have to do that all of this feeling--all of this want to change something, that apparently seemed unchangable--was all just shoved into "another Nine Inch Nails greatest hit" or "NEW NIN best seller!", etc. Though the benefit of writing this as just another hit song was that 'them' [[who I personally believe would be the record label, or the people pulling trents strings at the time, etc]], wouldn't guess that something in 'their' benefit, would be against them. |

Well, looking at the recent events in Trents career, I would definetly agree that this song was written from the singers point of view. My take on this song, I suppose, would be about how being a public figure, and idol was really wearing down on him. Notice how he makes alot of points on that: "I think I use to have a reason, then again, that might have been a dream." [possibly questioning the authenticy to the reasons he gets up everyday.] "I think I used to have a voice And now I never make a sound I just do what I've been told I really don't want them to come around, oh no" [That first line would strike oddly if from first pov, since Trent is a singer, so he's always making noise. But I think it would fit better with the theory that though he's always singing, yes--he isn't singing the words and feelings he wants to? That would be my first guess--and it's driven more by the lines about 'them' coming around. Who is them? The way the word is whispered makes you wonder if 'them' is a censorship or sorts.] 'Every day is exactly the same Every day is exactly the same There is no love here, and there is no pain Every day is exactly the same' [An artists life is pretty routine I would think, though far be it if I know how the famous truly live, and the line 'there is no love here, and there is no pain'--the comfort of money and fans, 'love'--but on a personal level--people rarely get close enough, perhaps.] The rest of it, I'm sure--if you want to go with this 'theory' Im sure you can see. :d Just my opinion. Happy listening~ |

| Lit – Miserable Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Okay, no. That's not how I see it at all. It reminds me of the relationship I'm in right now. Where everything is going great, sexually- we both love each other- BUT WE ARE ALWAYS FUCKING TOGETHER. we give up our plans and friends to see each other everyday-and to tell you the truth, usually, on the day we give up the plans, we are miserable. So, I feel like the girl is saying, "oh come on, lets hang out today-you can see them whenever" and she never gives him the chance, so he's always giving up his friends and free time to be with her, and it's starting to grate on his nerves. |

| Ha. I love this song. It's very upbeat. And just something that picks your mood up. :D | |
| Sia – Sunday Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I agree slightly with Amy. I think this song is more about how the whole world is always trying to keep themselves busy, and when sunday comes around-there is nothing to do since it's the day or rest. So people get anxious and wait "for Sunday to be Monday". I think Sia is saying to just so with it-and take a break. ENJOY sunday. |
