Who knew you could write an entire rap out of virtually nothing but Springsteen song titles?
Love this song... it's right up there with Drinking In LA and Love Cliche as their best ever. |

This is a fun song and probably my favorite by Rilo Kiley, but it's hard to ignore how similar it is to "I Could Be The One" by Donna Lewis. Not accusing anyone of anything, but it is definitely a striking resemblence. |

Pretty self-explanatory, he's drinking his life away in a bar and is crying out for help.
This song always struck me as what the Gin Blossoms would be if they were from Mexico, definitely has that Doug Hopkins feel to the lyrics. Easily my favorite song from Sueños Liquidos. |

This has got to be one of the catchiest songs I have ever heard in my life. It's a shame it never got any attention here in the US. |

lil weezer chic: Doug Hopkins was the guitarist for the Gin Blossoms and band founder, but Robin Wilson was always the lead singer (with the exception of a couple non-hit songs that Jesse Valenzuela sang, most notably "Cheatin'"). Tragically Doug committed suicide in '93 when New Miserable Experience was on the charts. This song didn't come out until Congratulations I'm Sorry in '96. |
