It sounds like genetics to me. She talks about all of these hereditary illnesses. The lines about sex seem to concern anxiety over passing on bad genes. Any instance of "family" can be replaced with "genes". She can run from many things in life, even true family, but one can't very effectively run from their genetic makeup. |
