this is one of my favorite songs on the new album and upperman's statement is most likely the meaning but there may be more to it, and it wasnt a dog that told him to kill people it was just sam carr who was supposly a 6,000 year old man (demon) which i believe sam is one of the devils apocalyptic demons which then explains the talk of war and destruction in the song. |

The title is the theme of course.. but he also is talking about how humans search for evidence of evolution. However its already there (here) in your mind, as it says in the first verse and chorus. In the rest of the song hes saying hes saying theyll find his(others) bones and preserve them with either aids or some desease that we create (procreation).
Finally it just says that well all die, and then well know that it was evolution, that there is (was in that case) no god, that were just animals nothing but that. |

Also i wrote that message and ment it but also forgot to put down this type of music is a fad in a few years there will be a new type of music that you will like, i have like the same music for as long as i can remeber. You think to yourself ur more musical cause ur variant but no u just listen to this type of music cuz its popular. I like rock cuz it is more rythmic and variant in meanings and plainly it sound alot better.
So listen to some real music like Korn, Metallica, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Pearl jam, static -x, theres tons of better bands than nickelback. And if u like this song listen to Cold there a awsome band they have a new album different than their old stuff but its good the album is called "A Different Type Of Pain" or even coldplay ( i like them a little).
