the first sentense means that this woman he is singing about has written a manuscript but it´s so bad that he doesn´t bother to even read it through. Maybe that´s a sign that they don´t have anything incommon... yes, this song is really great. especially the acoustic one, but I think everyone have got the meaning of the lyric almost all wrong. I mean I think that "I took the 405" actually means that he drinks alcohol! I looked it up and "405" is a kind of liquor. so he gets drunk and has sex with this girl and says it never has been better. And he says that mostly because he´s drunk. then: "missguided by the 405" means that he actually drives the 405 AND drinks at the same time. And because he´s drunk, me misses the axit to the girls parents house. and I guess that the fact that she is "twisting the truth" makes him drink. He HAS to drink when he is with her. It´s to hard to face her lies otherwise |
