@greencoloredpencil: Think about it. ANYONE could sell a deaf man new ears, or a blind man new eyes. It's what they want more than ANYTHING. But to convince a blind man to buy new ears is nearly impossible. It's like if I met a man who lived in a broken-down shack with no roof, and he was saving money to buy a new house, but I convinced him to buy a brand new car though he already had one that worked just fine, when what he really needs and wants is a new home to live in. I would have to have pretty good conversational skills to do that. |

I can see what Muffinhead is saying in te lyrics a little. For example, the first two lines "Don't put your hand in the pockets that feed you / You might not get it out" could be the band telling these pseudo-80's bands that it's ok to draw influence from 80's bands, but to be careful not to get too drawn into that and end up not being able to escape the 80's sound... or something (I'm bad at explaining things) Also, the last line "You ould surely try to be more alive" is more evidence of this. |
