Mellow and mild. It makes me think of all the fluff in life. The little things that aren't important. That's what I love the most. |

It's not about WoW, it's about Lord of the Rings, the source for all things MMO and fantasy related.
THE FOREST KING WILL REIGN! |

Sick ass bass druming with the guitar riff. One thing BT does best; the cohesion of percussion and guitar. The only better example of this in my opinion is Pantera where they only had one guitar though, so it was kind of a necessity. |

| Lamb of God – One Gun Lyrics

This song is about the Iraq War and those Iraqis fighting in it. The "unknowing tyrant" is Saddam Hussein. The patriot is the common people who are fighting for their freedom, fighting for what they believe in. Also, everyone knows how some Muslims view martyrs as heroes. They "hallow their name for their sacrifice." |

Well I have listened to both the original and the Pantera cover, and I like the Pantera version better. Though they and every other metal band owe more than they ever could to the mighty Black Sabbath, wouldn't it make sense that after about 20 years, the cover would sound better? Black Sabbath made some of the purest metal music, but Pantera is the last great Metal band. And one can not forget that they never sold out and I thank them for that. |

| Amon Amarth – An Ancient Sign Of Coming Storm Lyrics

Yea, the imagery used to describe the battle is by far the best in have ever heard in metal. The build up at the end is so epic. It makes me even feel like fighting a medieval battle. |

| Amon Amarth – Under The Northern Star Lyrics

One of Amon Amarth's more emotional songs. Its about brotherhood and thinking about the past, but moving on towards a new day.
"Many friends died on the way
Only few of us survived
But I would gladly trade them place
In Odens hall up high"
This passage is very powerful to me. Friends are never lost, just remembered forever. When you are in troubled times, follow the North Star. It will lead you on. |

One of my favorite intros, at least to a Rhapsody of Fire song. Some pretty good riffs and one of their grittiest solos. This is also a very old song of theirs, on one of their first albums. |

About leaving a world filled with bad things for a perfect place called heaven. A very fun and simple song. |

A soothsayer (a man who can forsee events) comes to warn a king about an attack on his castle. The king denies the merit of the soothsayer. The king lays back thinking he is invincible even if an attack does take place. When the enemy attacks, the king is efventually taken prisioner. The soothsayer just laughs at the foolishness of the king. |

Damnit, i was wrong. Upon further analysis of this song, i realize that the true meaing is of how the corrupt leaders of the Christian faith have gone astray from their own teachings. They preach things they themselves do not follow, and how hypocracy will eventually lead to its downfall. |

| 3 Inches of Blood – Lord Of The Storm (Upon The Boiling Sea II) Lyrics

Wow, this is one great story. It starts with the captain of a ship during a mutiny over his greed. He chooses not to abandon ship during a great storm. It can be assumed that the ship cannot move because of the wait of the treasure. During the mutiny, the storm, the wrath of an angered diety destroys the ship and the captain is left on a deserted island. The captain then begins to start another journey to rule the sea once more. I cannot listen to this song without seeing striking similarities to Iron Maiden's "Rime of the Ancient Mariner". Both songs are great. Up the Irons! |

Its about a corrupt, malicious government, or ruler for that matter, like many of the past. It also talks about how they always eventually fail and how good will forever win in the long run. |

I agree, but don't forget about what metal is all about. Metal is about being a renegade, apart from pop culture. So if others don't care about a band you like, it doesn't matter, just keep listening to the music you love. Thats all that matters. |

| 3 Inches of Blood – Crazy Nights Lyrics

I was listening to this song on my way to a football scrimage last night. This song along with other 3 Inches of Blood songs get me pumped for the game. But this one has special meaning to me. When I think about the words, it reminds me of Friday nights playing football. The "fury" fills you while the game rages. Eventually "blackened bruises swell." Also, when you first arrive at the field, it can seem like "paradise", but then, it "erupts" and "bodies hit the ground." By the end of the game, "the enemy is vanquished", and we are "crowned victor" with a "W". I wish all Friday nights were "Crazy Nights", not just 10 a year. |
