| I think it is about a man who has been surrounded by the deaths of people close to him and who is angry at God and confused about religion. He wants to turn to God for comfort, but he has lost his faith because of the injustice of death. When his faith was ripped away, he looked for comfort in things he now regrets. He longs to return to God and is searching for him, yet cannot forgive God for the perceived wrong and keeps searching for comforts elsewhere, knowing that if he cannot find God, he will be alone in pergatory, in life and in death. Since he can no longer find God, he will wander on until God finds him. | |

I believe it is about how the only time logic and explaination do not hamper your spirit is when you sleep and dream. Sleep is the only time your thoughts are free to float from place to place without barriers (i.e. the interference of others in reaching your goals -"You can't do this", I said "I can too" ). "Step up, step up, step up the sky is open-armed When the light is mine, I felt gravity pull onto my eyes" - when daylight pierces your eyelids, you wake up and gravity is once again holding you down - your thoughts are once again mired in rational life, your spirit is tethered to the earth once more and you are subject to outside influence. |

| I think it is about memories of the safety you felt as a child and how, when the problems of adulthood are too much, you need to pull out those memories to remind you that this world can still a beautiful, comforting, peaceful place.
