I love this song as well, and I am happy that there are some people to share this sound with. Although the song conveys peaceful feelings, the lyrics make me think of a guy, who lives with his girlfriend, but he is simply no more in love with her, he loves her like a sister and he says she can't see what is changing, she has little open eyes but she can't see deeply into their things. i got the feeling of disillusion. so he walks, through the city and through the night, listening to his heart, which loves Her but not in a Lovers way. it is such a beautiful song. 3/3 livia |

| I could only listen to two songs by Shapes and Sizes but they are amazing, I love their sound, it suits my tastes very much. they are kind of crazy and extravagant, pretty synphonic as well. i like them. The lyrics are dreamy, they make up a fantastic world, it's where all of us live when we can't take our feet on the ground. i'm going on thinking Akron Family in a religious way... I am sorry for that, maybe it's because it's the subject matter I'm thinking of the most in the last days. anyways. I see "before and again" like the circle of reincarnation: "All of my dreams are memories That I can't place to a time or a face But my body knows". I was someone else in the past life that now all the memories of that past life appear in dreams and I cannot distinguish them from reality. by the way, which reality? i love this song. i love Akron Family. |

isn't this an anti-cartesian prayer? ...I am very scared of reflect upon human being, but as soon as I read the lyrics of this song the idea against Descartes just popped up in my mind. Are we only thinking being? i don't think so. Cartesio idea is very convincing but i think we are more than what he says. you could argue that he says that he doesn't exclude that we are more than a thinking machine and that is the only thing we can say for sure, the only evidence of ourselves. where is our soul? where is the trascendental part of ourselves that we can't perceive now but we will be once we'll leave this world? |
