This is so romantic. I don´t know, if it is about consuming drugs. I´ve always seen this as a tale or a dream. The whole album is like a journey through dreams. This sounds like after a long party Josh is sitting in his living room holding his head in his hands thinking of all the drugs he took, taking another dose of medication, mayby painkillers. The doorbell rings and he can´t even get up to open the door so he wishes the door was already open. Reminds me of a situation in my life when the cops were standing in front of our door and we were all too drunk to open the door... They were very patient and kept on ringing for about one hour. lol |

It´s about spreading rumors without thinking about the consequences. After a while the rumors become the "truth" and the person or maybe the group the rumors are about will be burned. And the one who started the rumor will never say what the truth was. Simple, wasn´t it? :D |

I like the part when you hear someone using knifes and pulling a leg (?) out of a big piece of meat. That reminds me of the scene in the Rocky Horror Picture Show, when they are all sitting around the table eating Eddie without knowing it. |
