very Amazing indeed! Great to see George back after such a long absence. I would describe the song as being upbeat and that everything is there to live for. |

Despite what everyone's interpretations are about 'One', it deservedly is one of the best songs ever written (always in my top 3!). I heard a rumour that the band were touring Germany and on the verge of breaking up. One very late evening when the boys were post gigging and spirits were low, Bono took the mike and strummed out something he had been working on - which eventually became 'one' and this injected a new impetus into a dying band and 'Achtung Baby' was born - or so they say. Has anyone heard of this story or is this merely urban legend? |
