I think that this song is about a girl who is in love for a guy who she knows is bad for her. She knows he's only going to hurt her and that it is a bad relationship, but she can't break her addiction to him, thus using a drug metaphor. She has fooled herself into thinking his hurtfulness is a way of showing he cares. "your torture was meant to be love" |
