I always thought that the phrase "jumped everybody's fence" had more to do with escaping societal borders and boundaries, dull ways of thinking, and living a life that's open and free to a kind of cosmic wonder that ultimately renders life itself as completely absurd. Momentarily escaping the humdrum of day-to-day life to think about how crazy it is to be alive at all. |

Not sure if this is relevant at all, but in the original version of the board game Clue, from the UK, Mr. Green is known as Reverend Green. Parker Bros. changed it when the game to America because they thought Americans would object to a member of the clergy being a murderer. |

I definitely feel that way. After 4 years of listening to Elliott's music, discussing his songs, and reading interviews and stories and articles, I feel as if no one could fully appreciate his music unless they under went the same kind of process. When you know so much about him,you listen to his music is on a whole different level. |

This is kind of sad. No one, not one person caught the Elliott Smith reference. He says, towards the end "What up Elliott, I haven't seen you in a bit." Elliott Smith committed suicide a few years back,which would be the explanation for him saying that. I can't believe no one found that before, even after several lists were made. |
