oh and also... idk if it makes a difference in regards to meaning but elektra complex is best described as the opposite of oedipus complex. instead of boy and mom it's girl and dad. but often people will use oedipus to describe either gender because it's the older name for it. |

science is NOT a religion at all. which is probably why the most top notch schools for science are religiously based. and most of the main scientific concepts were discovered by highly religious people (ie sir isaac newton and albert einstein) i mean, SOMEONE had to create the way everything is mathematically and scientifically connected. and they aren't ignorant. he didn't say there is no such things as science nor did he say anyhting about it not helping at all ever. he doesn't give a specific ANYTHING. he's just saying that faith can be strong and people can defy odds. just because you don't agree with their beliefs doens't make them stupid or ignorant. which is probably his point. what's wrong with thinking someone created this world? definitely doesn't make a person ignorant. you not respecting their beliefs is ignorant. it may not be what you believe but that's no reason to look down on a person. but whatevs we all agree its a good song and that's what matters :) |
