Listening to this song, it just sounds like Conor is having fun. I can imagine him just relaxing on the beach with some friends, pullin' out a guitar and just singing this. Or perhaps a villa in Mexico. ha..lame joke. |

One thing I have noticed about the Conor Oberst album is that..some of the songs lyrics arent as...rich? I don't know..but some of them dont have the same power as his old lyrics do. It might just be this song, and I might just still be adjusting to not calling this album a Bright Eyes album. This is definitely a fun song though, it makes me want to do that dance...like its a circle dance and you like switch partners all the time kicking up your feet and stuff...I really don't know the name of the dance but its a real dance. [I'm a little tired right now so I apologize for not making any sense] |

| I was just gonna say the same thing about the Morphine line. This whole song is so much fun. And some parts of it remind me of older Bright Eyes songs, he just has so much energy. Similar to the energy in "The Calender Hung Itself" the songs aren't really similar but for some reason the energy I get from this song REALLY reminds me of The Calender Hung Itself. | |

Okay so I'm listening to the album in order and WOW, I was definitely a little nervous, I don't know why seeing as how Bright Eyes is mainly Conor [although Mike Mogis does have a big hand to play, and Nate Walcott, so Bright Eyes isnt really solo like most people think, its like a trio]. But yeah, I was very apprehensive about the album, I was just nervous that it would let me down, but so far I was so WRONG. The first song was okay, the second was good, then Get-Well Cards came on and I was like "wow..this is amazing" but then this song came on, and I just fell in love. So far this is my favorite song, It's so beautifully sung, and the music accompanying it is beautiful. I know i've used that word like 8 times but thats truly the only word for this song. Pure beauty. |

So..I loved the line where he was saying he's brainless...like foreplay-less sex is. Obvious interpretation..no foreplay=no time for oral. So I showed my friend that line and she thought it meant "is it saying that little to no thinking goes into foreplay-less sex?" and knowing Lupe, he probably meant that too (although the entire metaphor goes into something deeper, I'm aware of that) |

I love this song. I can picture this in a movie, or a video. This would be an amazing video. The music itself is amazing, plus the lyrics and how she sings it. Sometimes the tempo quickens and it just makes you feel like you're right there living the song. |
