I think this song is about a guy who cant come to terms with being old and is reflecting on when he and his lover were younger. i also think 'now we say goodnight from our own seperate sides' is not cos they have argued but cos theyre old and theyve lost the youthful passion they shared on the motorbike.maybe. another awesome song by a great band |

'Love is watching someone die' is one of my favourite lyrics ever. To me it sort of suggests that you dont realise how much you love someone until you watch them die. i also think that emo is a term batted around too easily and is more to do with image than music now, all music is emotional love death cab so much, they are amazing live |
