S Club 7 – Bring It All Back Lyrics 19 years ago
s club 7 summed up just how bad music could almost get. These bands that pray on children to buy their records make me sick, i understand kids need to listen to music, but there plenty of good bands who have the same bouncy, joyous feeling within their music. at least they will grow up respecting and understanding music.
The lyrics on this song are shit, the dance is shit, the beat is shit, the group were shit and the video was shit. to sum up, s club 7 were shit.
i agree with danomanliska, but maybe shooting is a little extreme............how about death by s club 7? they will soon get the message how shit they are.

Kasabian – Empire Lyrics 19 years ago
it is a class act, the whole album is, Kasabian have proved their worth, which is something mega if you keep in mind they made galactic tunes such as club foot, LSF and reason for treason. The video is awesome, i think its the crimean war (but not sure), it brings out the 'gang' aspect of what a good band is all about. Proper inspiring.

The View – Wasted Little DJs Lyrics 19 years ago
this band are quality, the accents, the look and more so the music. with tunes that they have, then i wouldn't argue if they became the next break through band. And as they are supporting the primals on tour then their fan base can only increase further than the 'indie kids'.

Good luck to them, and may they aspire to inspire.

Black Lace – Gang Bang Song Lyrics 19 years ago
shagging, thats it, the dirty b*stards.
i don't mind metaphors for sex, but inunendo's are perverted. It may as well say "who is up for a communal f*ck". I advise kids to stay away, well away from black lace.

The Stone Roses – Mersey Paradise Lyrics 19 years ago
very 60's, certainley a take off on the 'mersey beat' sound, i don't know as this song is a piss take as Liverpool is pronounced as 'River Cool' and it sounds like Ian may want to fall into the Liverpool scene - which was much cooler than the Manchester one at the time. love the line "the bricks, the bike, the rusty tin" - i get the image of the terraced houses, back yards and alley ways in my head.

The Stone Roses – Made Of Stone Lyrics 19 years ago
It could be a reflection of the state of Britain throughout the mid - late eighties, the collapsing of 'Thatcherism' and the almost 'crash and burn' of politics in society. Its sounds like a car crash, but it also sounds like the aftermath of a violent riot, like the Liverpool riots in the early 80's - "and the cars they burn below me" - Plus made of stone is practically saying someone/ something is resiliant, permanent, durable, hard - "are you all alone? are you made of stone?" - a survivor of soemthing tragic, such as a crash, violent revolt or even an apocolypse. Perfect ending.
