i wrote something inspired by this song... It pretty much sums its meaning to me. But it is currently lacking a title, maybe someone could help. Forcefully ripped from between my legs, My soul now travels freely And aimlessly around the globe, Jubilant to have escaped the stifling prison It was once accustomed to. My remains are left, Nothing but a shell, A distant memory of what i once called a life. But i trudge on, desperately trying to replenish my hollow interior, To find a cure for the emptiness. But my remedy of choice, Only expands the nothingness, And every man walks away Satisfied with his trophy, A share of whatever he manages to scrape From my calloused interior. My hope lies in the one stranger Who will steal the last scrap of life, Leaving nothing but a corpse. He will be my savior, And i will finally be reunited With my absentee soul. I'm still toying with it, but i'm just about satisfied (minus the title of course) |

if you actually listen to the words they are sayng, it is about peer pressure, although i too find it entertaining to hear. but the message is a little more involed. that's what i love about tilly. they are upbeat about serious subjects and shine a new light on them often. i love them so. |

this song is about growning up in atlanta. the two male members are from atlanta. i saw their show there and they said it was about that. they closed with this song and everyone went insane. i have been to north ave. and i think it is a excellent song and captures the turmoil of being in high school exactly. |

i saw thilly in atlanta. it was an experience i will carry forth and share everyone who will listen. their stage presence was infectious. they had everyone up on their feet. i dont live in atlanta but i was just visiting nad loved thier old cd, so i went to see them (unbeknownst to me that the male members were from atlanta). then they closed with nights of the living dead and it was about atlanta. everyone was singing adn dancing and screaming. i even met jamie, the tap dancer after the show. she was by far the liveliest member. all in all... spectacular. |
