Wow. Honestly I can't believe how literally you people take lyrics... wow. My interpretation of the song was simply a boy who looks up to another boy, an athlete. "In a car with a girl, promise me she's not your world" I saw that as the boy not wanting "Andy" to get too carried away with relationships or anything, because he's a "star" and has real potential for his future. I dont know, just my feelings on it. I do wish more of you people actually knew what you were talking about before you posted, haha. Brandon Flowers' personal life has no relevance to how amazing his music is. |

To me, it seems to be about trying to stay friends with an ex. He just wants everything to be alright between them again and he's having some trust issues. Well, kinda-sorta? This is a great song though, this band could definitely be big someday. |
